Honorable Mention, WA Architecture Awards, 2002- Compal Headquarters, Taipei This year’s “WA Architecture Awards” sponsored by the famous Chinese architectural magazine “World Architecture” is just announced. 3 winners and 3 honorable mentions were chosen out of all 44 nominated works. Architect Kris Yao’s Compal Headquarters was awarded with Honorable Mention.
參與此次評獎的評委由來自國內外的七位專家學者和建築師組成，他們是著名建築評論家、荷蘭代爾夫特技術大學亞歷山大‧楚尼斯(Alexander Tzonis)教授，著名建築評論家、哈佛大學研究生院客座教授威爾弗雷德‧王(Wilfried Wang)，中國建築設計研究院總建築師、中國建築學會副理事長崔愷，清華大學建築學院院長秦佑國教授，北京大學建築學研究中心張永和教授，世界建築雜誌社主編王路教授以及京澳‧凱芬斯建築設計有限公司余立博士。
本次活動旨在推出更多優秀的中國建築作品，促進中國建築創作的繁榮，展現中國建築師的智慧、技巧和成就，促進全社會對建築師行業的了解和尊重，把中國建築師和中國建築推向世界。此次競賽的獲獎作品將匯編成書，對外公開發行。
