Willy Yu has been bestowed the 2017 Fellowship of the American Institute of Architects
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has elevated the 2017 new Fellows on February 10th to its prestigious College of Fellows:
Willy Yu, our Senior Partner, has been elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA).
The Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Election to fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of architects as individuals, but also their significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.
Willy Yu joined the AIA in 1982. His abundant experiences and distinguished accomplishments in Taiwan, Greater China, and the United States over the past thirty –five years have been recognized by the AIA Jury of Fellows. In 2016, nominated by the AIA San Francisco Chapter and sponsored by Yuan L. Tsai, AIA, Willy Yu is elevated to the AIA’s College of Fellows by his extraordinary contribution in the Management category.
Willy Yu will join the investiture ceremony at the AIA Annual Conference that will be held in Orlando, Florida in April this year.
