Hupan University's new campus is at Hangzhou, China. Its around 70-acre site is planned for 2000 students in the future. The building complex is contained as a giant circle, surrounded by and interwoven with water. Its architectures, gardens, and water bodies are juxtaposed with each other. The modern design, almost futurist, brings off the essence of traditions. Paying tribute to histories and  transforming cultural forms, the design is simple yet not plain and is bright without pretenciousness. The new campus combines spacious passages and rich landscapes for casual conversations and relaxation. It aims for the entreprenurering students to return to some origin, to think with peace and ease.
