Tongshan Residence_Residential_Projects | KRIS YAO｜ARTECH

The 13-floor high apartment sits in a quiet alley of a residential section of immense culture and artistry adjacent to NTU Campus and numerous Central Government buildings. The “h”-shape plan with service core in the middle provides a simple and clear circulation, as well as good natural lighting and ventilation, to all three modular units on each floor. In order to complement the old trees around the site, the design focuses on creating a harmonious dialogue between the architecture and the landscape. Using continuous greenbelts of plazas, promenades, and water features, in conjunction with multiple walk ways, the design is able to provide numerous unique visual experiences and rare opportunities for residents to enjoy nature within the city. Finally, the interlacing stone and tiles on the exterior add liveliness to the building’s façade.
